If your goal is to live a long and healthy life, welcome, you're in the right place.
We’re playing a long game here, and the good news is I have the playbook. And it’s not one that I’ve put together from the sidelines: everything I use to train you, I do or have done myself.
As a kid, my dad would encourage me to make small changes over time instead of rushing the process. Years later, this way of continual improvement — what the Japanese call "Kaizen" — is how I live and coach.
My greatest joy is teaching people how to progress, and achieve incremental gains in functional fitness. That means ensuring that you have the strength and stamina you need not just to survive but thrive.
Working with such a diverse clientele over the years, I have a unique perspective on how to become physically fit and healthy so you can live stronger, longer.
Whether you're just starting out, coming back from an injury, stuck in a rut, or want guidance and accountability — I got you!
My “Stronger Longer” Mindset
Do you know the saying, “the more you do, the better the result”?
Guess what? More isn't better — better is better. And that's what my approach to fitness is all about: finding, guiding, and coaching you to make changes that stick over time.
Accepting pain, fatigue, no time, no gym, and a lack of confidence is about to change. There is a better way that’s approachable, doable, and sustainable.
Your physical practice will fit your lifestyle… fit your schedule… and fit your goals to be healthy, fit, and strong.
What Makes Me Fit 2 Coach You?
I was born and raised in Southern California and started personal training in the Los Angeles area in the early ’80s. That’s when gyms and fitness became a national obsession, and I had a front-row seat to watch the industry grow — the good, the bad, and the ugly.
This is what motivated me to get certifications in Exercise Science (University of California, Los Angeles; Master of Sports Sciences from the International Sports Sciences Association; MovNat (Certification Team Instructor), Functional Movement Systems, Strong First Kettlebell, and more).
I saw early on that the key to results wasn’t crazy numbers of reps, punitive diets, or lifting staggering weights. It was understanding how our body works, especially as we age, and how to decrease the incidence of injury and increase strength, stamina, and overall health and well-being.
With over 35 years of coaching adults who want to start (or restart), stick to a routine, or ramp up their activity, I know what it takes to become strong, fit, and healthy at any age.
Writer and Meditation Teacher
"My old fitness goal was to have a ‘bikini body.’ Now I just want a body that can do all the things I desire: travel, keep up with my now-adult kids, and stay healthy as long as possible. Jeff is my partner on this journey, and I’m kicking a$$ thanks to his guidance and support."
Former National Team / Professional Soccer Player
"Jeff is one of the best! He helped me early in my professional career which
set the foundation and prepared me for many years
of success."
"I have known Jeff Turner for 35 years. Over that period, I have not met a more knowledgeable, conscientious and meticulous trainer. The results he has consistently achieved with all types of people are nothing short of spectacular.".
