For the past six years, I’ve studied what helps people truly understand photography – and what causes confusion.
I did this using my old YouTube Photography Course, which has racked up 1.7 million views, and my Facebook Photography Beginners Group, now home to over 100,000 members (yes, that’s a lot of questions).
I’ve sifted through all the questions and answers, separating the really helpful stuff from the content that only made people want to throw their cameras out the window.
Then, I spent three years creating this photography course to be as fast, easy to understand, and memorable as possible.
And yes, I made it entertaining too – because I still have nightmares about how boring school lessons used to be!
The ‘traditional’ way of teaching photography: boring, confusing, and – let’s be honest – sometimes just plain wrong.
And let’s not forget: you’ll forget most of it faster than you can say ‘shutter speed’.

Learning photography with the Wolf method is way more engaging, easier to understand, and – most importantly – accurate.
Oh, and it actually sticks in your brain, so you won’t forget it by lunchtime.

This photography course is for those who are serious about learning photography.
You want to learn photography as quickly as possible? Then you’re definitely in the right place
You’ve binge-watched a ton of videos or even taken a course, but still find yourself scratching your head over photography?
No wonder! The way most people teach it can be more confusing than a camera manual in another language.
As this is a new way of teaching photography, even advanced photographers and teachers can learn something new and improve their understanding.
Follow my course structure, and you’ll master photography faster than you ever thought possible—like, light-speed fast..
I personally have zero patience for videos that drone on and on, turning simple concepts into endless lectures. Let’s be real: who has time for that? I’m all about cutting to the chase and giving you the good stuff—the most important tips, delivered straight to the point.
Now, you might be thinking, ‘If it’s so to-the-point, why is this course 7 hours and 30 minutes long?’
Great question! Here’s the deal: for one this course is packed with something called spaced repetition. It’s like hitting ‘save’ on your brain so you actually remember what you learn—no more watching, forgetting, and starting over.
Plus: almost every lesson comes with drill trainings that will transfer many photography tasks into muscle memory. The time for the drill trainings is already included in the calculation.
Teaching yourself photography can be a rollercoaster—fun and exciting, but also frustrating enough to want to scream a few times along the way. And let’s be honest, it’s going to take months of trial and error.
That’s why so many beginners give up—they’re not seeing results fast enough. It’s like trying to bake a cake but burning every batch because no one told you the oven temperature.
But here’s the good news: for about the price of a good dinner (or a mediocre one with bad service), you can skip the frustration and fast-track your skills.
And let’s face it, snapping stunning photos is a lot more fun than Googling ‘what does ISO even mean?’. So, the faster you learn, the sooner you can start capturing those jaw-dropping shots and impressing your friends.
After watching all the lessons and exercises in this course, you will very confidently set your camera and deal with most situations that you will encounter in your photography life.
The biggest issue photography beginners (and quite a few advanced photographers) usually have is understanding light.
Why? Because it is usually not taught at all. Once you understand, everything will fall into place.
Composition is something many beginners struggle with.
I have come up with a rather simple trick that will help you find the perfect composition for every single shot.
Some exercises are created in a way, that they will store frequent settings into muscle memory.
So instead of searching buttons and dials on your camera to adjust the settings accordingly, your fingers will find their way automatically without you even thinking.

There’s nothing worse than spending money on something that doesn’t work, right? That’s why you’ll get your money back should you not be satisfied within the first seven days.
Because I neither want to waste your money, nor your time. If you are unsatisfied after 7 days, you won’t be happy after 14 days either.
I don’t like bragging at all, but while I don’t consider myself a great photographer, I still have a lot of experience in many areas of photography.
Every single image in the course and on this website was taken by me.
So if you are not convinced by now, that I may be able to help you with my photography course, maybe this fact will do:
Only a person who has a lot of experience in many areas of photography is able to give advice in many areas of photography.
If someone is the most awesome portrait photographer in the world, he should not give tips on landscape photography, nor should a wildlife photographer teach product photography.
I totally understand because pages that want to sell something are absolutely annoying.
Why not just start with the basic photography course that is available on YouTube?
