And the avocado serves as an appetite suppressant. The apples and dates sweeten and satiate, while the mint gives it a fresh summer zing. And then there’s the maca…libido increasing, and endurance-boosting…I told y’all this was loaded 😉

Recipe: Green Grace

Servings: 4

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Good For: Beverage

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup kale

  • 1 green apple

  • 1/2 cucumber

  • 1/4 medium avocado

  • 1-inch knob fresh ginger

  • 5 dates

  • 1 tsp maca powder

  • several mint leaves

  • juice of half a lime

  • 2 cups of water

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth, scraping down sides if necessary.

  2. Taste and adjust flavor as needed.

Notes:

  • Add more water if too thick.

  • Freezes well to make into popsicles.
