When I started bartending, there was no roadmap. No personalized coaching. I had 50 tricks on a VHS tape, really! Unfortunately for me, in the beginning I had to pave my own way, take the $60 day shifts, pull doubles and spend years driving to Vegas and sitting at the bar on my days off with a camcorder filming my favorite bartenders so I had a reference to practice to in my garage. Two decades, thousands of hours and over $10,000 in tips to bartenders that would "show me something new" just to learn a trick to take to my next shift. My promise to you is that I will share my mistakes so you can get to your goals faster.
Things were so bad at times that I could only afford ramen when I was not at work to get an employee discounted meal.
